Practicing a growth mindset has become quite popular over the past few years, but many still need to understand a perspective’s role in our overall health.

Your mindset is a set of beliefs that shape how you think and feel about yourself and the world around you. It impacts how you interact with people and perceive and react to situations.

A healthy, positive mindset directly frames your actions to reflect healthy, positive behaviors. It’s true; how you think affects you physically and emotionally.

Having a healthy mindset is a powerful tool. Here are three mindset shifts you can start making TODAY for your health:

1 Show yourself some compassion.

How you think directly influences your emotions. When we start down the path of self-sabotage and perfectionism, it decreases our energy.

2 Understand the power of choice.

A lot in life is out of our control, but we can choose our thoughts. Focus on yours, taking moments to replace the negative with the positive.

3 Stay in your lane.

We’re all individuals, and what works for someone won’t necessarily work for you. Steer clear of comparison and trust your instincts to stay consistent toward your path!
